Opportunities for Service: Guilds at St. Marks
It takes a lot of work, and many hands, to run a parish. There’s a wide variety of opportunities for service at Saint Mark’s, and all are welcome to participate.
ANGLICAN CHURCH WOMEN
A guild of the Anglican Province of Christ the King, dedicated to support the mission of the Church. Each member of the ACW becomes a public relations herald of the parish, furthering the work of the Church as an individual, and through her participation in the activities of the ACW group.

SAINT BRIGID HOSPITALITY GUILD
Host coffee hours and special events throughout the parish year. Sign up in the Parish Hall.

SAINT CATHERINE OF ALEXANDRA PUBLICATIONS GUILD
Assemble, proofread, maintain, and disseminate publications of all kinds.

Catalog, shelve, and maintain the collection.

SAINT JOSEPH’S GUILD OF ALTAR SERVERS
Serve the congregation through the Sacrifice of the Mass as acolytes, lay readers, thurifers, crucifers, and boat boys.

SAINT MARK ALTAR GUILD
Polish the candlesticks and altar furnishings, clean sanctuary areas, wash and iron small linens and fair linens, lay out vestments, trim candles, water flowers, serve the workers at the altar of God.

Bake, cut, wrap, and ship communion bread.
