The Parish of St. Mark’s is governed by the Rector and the Vestry of the Parish. The Vestry consists of members of the parish in good standing and the Rector. Vestry members are elected by the communicants in good standing at the Annual Meeting of the Parish. Lay members of the Vestry each serve a three-year term and every year, three new members are voted-in to replace three outgoing members. Officers of the Vestry are subsequently elected by a vote of the Vestry members each year and include Senior Warden, Junior Warden, Treasurer, and Clerk, each with varying responsibilities. The Vestry meets regularly to manage all secular concerns of the parish.
